Entire books have been written on this topic, but even the most meticulous planning will not reap results without an unwavering commitment to methodical execution and completion. Every three years, Piedmont Technical College “sharpens its axe” to carve out and refine an achievable path to success for its students. Our strategic plan for 2019-2021, titled Commitment to Completion, addresses the most critical infrastructure elements that must be in place to guide students to the timely achievement of their highest goals.

Did you know that 7 out of 10 students at Piedmont Technical College attend tuition-free? And 90 percent receive some form of financial aid. How is that possible? Not only do we offer the lowest tuition cost of any college in our region, but our intrepid financial aid staff are relentless in their pursuit of every available resource to reduce a student’s cost for attending. They conduct workshops and one-on-one meetings to help students navigate all possibilities. Most benefit from multiple funding sources, putting together a curated aid package that ranges from federal and state funding to loans and scholarships.
